According to your flight arrival schedule, the guide from AET will wait for you at the airport in advance. Then you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel to check in. At the same time, you will be briefed on your itinerary. For the rest of the time, you can stroll around the hotel and enjoy local food.
Today, you will visit the Old and New Delhi. First, you will visit the Red Fort, an elegant citadel in red sandstone. Very near the Fort is the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque. Then you will visit the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, you will visit the New Delhi Qutab Minar, a Tower of Victory. The next tourist attraction is the tomb of Humayun, one of the finest examples of the garden tomb in the world, then visit the India Gate. It is the facade and landmark of India.
The first stop of today's trip is the Amber Fort. Located on a hill on the outskirts of Jaipur, it is the capital of ancient Indian vassals. It was built in 1592. Tourists can ride elephants up the mountain. Next, you will visit the famous `Palace of Winds’, otherwise known as Hawa Mahal. It is really an elaborate facade behind which the ladies of the court used to watch the daily goings on in the street below. It is extremely intricate in its pink sandstone carving. After that, you will visit the City Palace. The city palace was built in 1729. After the expansion of successive kings in the following centuries, the architecture of the palace integrates the Indian style of Rajasthan and the Islamic style of Mughal Dynasty.
Today, you will visit the Agra, which was the capital of India from the 16th to the early 18th century. It’s a combination of artistic achievements and unforgettable love stories. On the way to Agra, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri also known as “The Ghost City”. In Agra, you will visit famous Agra Fort. They are encircled by a moat and contain a maze of buildings which form a small city within a city. After that, you will go to the hotel for a rest.
Today, you will visit the Taj Mahal, the most famous tourist attraction in India. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build. The Taj Mahal is not only a beautiful building, but also a reflection of people's yearning for love. After visiting Taj Mahal return back to the hotel for the breakfast. After breakfast continue your drive to Delhi to board the flight to Varanasi. When you arrive at the airport, AET's guide will take you to the hotel for check-in.
As the beginning of the day, you will have a cruise on the Ganga. On the way, you can see the beautiful scenery on both sides and the daily life of the local people. People talking bath, performing rituals, worshiping to the Sun, washing clothes... it all happens in the Subah-e-Banaras. Then you will visit Durga temple and the Benaras Hindu University. After lunch you will do the excursion trip to Sarnath. The Sarnath museum is home of many Buddhist ruins and artifacts. It’s a good chance to learn about Indian culture.
Today, you will fly to Mumbai. Mumbai is the richest city in India. After meeting you at the hotel, your guide will take you to the hotel for check-in.
Today, you will visit some of Mumbai's unforgettable tourist attractions. First, you will visit Gateway of India. It is one of India's most unique landmarks situated in the city of Mumbai. After that, you will visit the Victoria Terminus. This magnificent Gothic building combines the traditional style of India at the same time. The whole building is covered with exquisite stone carvings, and it has been the busiest railway station in India since it was built. Then, you will go to explore the Crawford Market. Here you can buy some exquisite Indian gifts for your friends and relatives. In the evening, you will fly back to your hometown.
