When you arrive at Kochi, the guide and drive from AET will wait for you at the arrival hall in advance. After the meeting, you will go to the hotel by private car to check in. Kochi is a charming Indian city. The most famous are the beautiful beaches and the unforgettable scenery. After checking in, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery here.
Today's destination is Munnar. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. It has a humid climate, gurgling streams. Munnar's high altitude brings cool weather, which makes it a great summer resort. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, which towers over 2,695 m.
Kumarakon is one of the "Fifty places that people have to go" in National Geographic. Kumarakom is village cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. You can rent a boat to relax while enjoying the beautiful scenery. At night, the boat was moored on the river, in the middle of the lake. You can hear the coconut trees being moved by the wind and see the brightest stars in the night sky. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres is a favorite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise.
Today's destination is Alleppey, which is regarded as "Venice of the east". Alleppey was one of the busiest centers of trade in the past. There are many scenic spots worth visiting here, such as the lovely church filled town of Kottayam and the town of Aranmula. You will board your private A/C Bedroom Houseboat for a cruise on backwaters. On the cruise ship, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river with the breeze blowing on your face.
Today, you will go to Cochin. The first stop of Cochin is the Dutch Palace, also known as Mattancherry Palace. Then visit Folklore Museum, which shows the Kerala's rich cultural heritage, myriad art and dance form and unique architecture in a very typical Kerala setting. After that, you will visit the St. Francis Church, which is believed to be the oldest church built by the Europeans in India. In the evening, you will go to watch the Kathakali dance performance. Kathakali is one of the most complex and highly stylized art forms in India. It is a kind of dance drama, famous for its thick and charming makeup, exquisite clothing and meticulous body movements. After that, the driver will take you to the airport to check in. Then, you will be on the plane back home.
