Day 1 Arrival in Phnom Penh
The Fangipani Royal Palace or similar hotel (4-star standard)

Welcome to Phnom Penh. Your guide and driver will welcome you at Phnom Penh Airport. After warm greetings, after warm greetings, you will take a comfortable car to a hotel in the center of the city. After check-in, you are free to recover from jet lag for the rest of the day, or wander around and get familiar with your surroundings.

Day 2 Phnom Penh
The Fangipani Royal Palace or similar hotel (4-star standard)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and escort you to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung EK Killing Fields, where you can learn about the tragic massacre of the Khmer Rouge during 1975 - 1979. After that comes a visit to the National Museum. More than 15,000 precious exhibits, including stone ware, bronze ware, porcelain and wooden artifacts, show the superb skills of the Khmer artisans. You will end the day with the glistering Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda.

Day 3 Phnom Penh – Takeo

After breakfast, you will leave Phnom Penh and drive to the South to the small town of Takeo. you will take a bus from Phnom Penh for about two hours, but on the way, you will stop to visit. The first stop at Tamao wildlife sanctuary in Phnom Penh. The zoo was established to protect and rescue rare and endangered local species from poachers and smugglers. Phnom Tamao, home to 70 Sun bears and Asiatic bears, was rescued with the help of the NGO Free the Bears which aim to protect, preserve and enrich the lives of bears. After that, you will afterward stop at the two temples of Tonle Bati, an important worshipping place and a popular local weekend picnic site where you will have a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit Phnom Chisor, a well-preserved Angkor era temple ruin. After visit, you will be drove to your homestay. Tonight, you will have friendly dinner together with your homestay.


Day 4 Takeo - Kampot

After breakfast, you are going to transfer to Kampot, a cool little town by the river, a few hours south of Phnom Penh. After check in hotel, you head down river to a great spot with rope swings, pontoons and tubes, where you can spend the afternoon on the river.

Day 5 Kampot (Bokor Hill Station)

After breakfast, you will drive to Bokor Hill Station. The site is located on a plateau 1000 meters above sea level, with steaming jungles, shy wildlife and abandoned buildings. The specific climate of the site, often shrouded in fog and clouds, completes the mysterious atmosphere of the ghost city. Besides, the view of the coast from the top of the mountain is really spectacular. You will spend a full day in this this strange and amazing place, having a picnic lunch near the Popokvil waterfalls. You will be drove back to Kampot at night. After that, you may be attracted by a shiatsu-style massage or foot massage at “Seeing Hands 5 Massage” or “Kampot Massage by the Blind”, two places offering massages by seeing-impaired masseurs and masseuses.

Day 6 Kampot – Sihanouk Ville

You will have breakfast before leaving Kampot for Sihanoukville. It is Cambodia’s leading Beach Resort. There are white-sand beaches around the cape, unspoiled islands along the coast, and the popular Khal Chhay waterfall. Since you will arrive there at noon time, you will be first taken to lunch at a nice local restaurant at your own account. After that, you will have a full free afternoon to explore the beaches after checking in. Enjoy dinner and drinks at some of local restaurants and bars along the beaches to enjoy sunset by the sea.

Day 7 Sihanouk Ville

Sihanouk is the most beautiful beach resort in Cambodia, surrounded by the Gulf of Thailand on three sides. The unspoiled beaches, the sea and the tall coconut trees make the city a paradise for holidaymakers. The full days is free. You can enjoy the sea view here, take part in beach volleyball, swimming, snorkeling and other recreational activities, and taste many delicious seafood.

Day 8 Sihanouk Ville

Further explore the village of Indein, enjoy the beautiful rural scenery and Pagoda complex. Then visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda which is famous for its five golden Buddha images made in the 12th century. Later, after your short visit at the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, you will be transferred back to the hotel. If you are interested, you may also ask your guide to the handicraft weaving show, and then return to the hotel.

Day 9 Sihanouk Ville – Phnom Penh

After breakfast, you will take a bus from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh. The journey will take about four hours to reach Phnom Penh at noon. Upon arrival, check in and rest. 

Day 10 Phnom Penh

Today you will enjoy a full day city tour. You will visit the Wat Phnom Temple which dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva, then visit the National Museum, where you will see the large collection of Khmer history, arts and architecture. You will also visit the Silver Pagoda, which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and a visit to the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 11 Phnom Penh - Battambang

In the morning, you will take a bus to Battamang. The trip will take about 4-5 hours. After check in at the hotel, you will go to a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go around the city to see the old colonial buildings, the small museum and Wat Kampheng, a colorful temple in a peaceful garden. Then, you will reach Wat Ek Phnom temple (11th century) along the Sang Ker River by 11 km driving. 

Day 12 Battambang

After breakfast, you will drive 18 kilometers to Sampov, Phnom, to visit two caves formerly used by the Khmer Rouge and enjoy a spectacular rural scenery. Afterwards, you will go to Phnom Banon where there is a 12th century temple and holy water cave. In this huge natural space, the "Kouhea Preah Toeuk" still hosts some Buddha statues brought by local people. The real-life experience on the bamboo train will bring you back to Battambang, where you will have some time to relax.

Day 13 Battambang - Siem Reap

After breakfast, you will take the regular steamer from Battambang at 7:00 am. The ship will sail along the Sang Ker river before entering the Tonle Sap lake, the biggest lake in Southeast Asia. This is a picturesque trip; you will enjoy the beautiful scenery, through the flooded forest and the floating villages and learn about the daily life on the lake and along the river. The magical journey will last about four hours during the rainy season but in the dry season it can be longer because of low water levels. After checking in, you will be free the rest of the afternoon.Overnight in Siem Reap.

Please note that if the water level is low, the journey from Battambang to Siem Reap will be by land. The Tonle Sap Lake is the lowest level at the end of the dry season, in March and April.


Day 14 Siem Reap

In the morning, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Pimean Akas. Have lunch at the local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, a famous temple of Cambodia, and then continue to visit the Bakheng Hill temple with Sun Set, including from the top of this hill, back hotel.

Have a good dinner before you go back to the hotel.


Day 15 Siem Reap

You will be free at the morning; you can sleep or continue to explore the city and its surroundings. In the afternoon, you will drive about 15 kilometers southeast of Siem Reap to the temples of the Roluos group, a group of monuments representing the remains of Hariharalaya, the first major capital of the Angkorian-era Khmer Empire during the angkori Dynasty. You will visit the three main temples of this site, Prasat Bakong, the oldest temple mountain of the Angkor-era, Prasat Preah Ko, where beautiful sculptures and Prasat Lolei are preserved. Four tourist attractions are built in the middle of the now dry baray.



Day 16 Siem Reap – Kampong Thom

After breakfast, you will drive to Kampong Thom Province, East of Siem Reap. Take a two-hour bus through a beautiful country and you will get to the center of the city. In the afternoon, you will visit Sambor Prei Kuk. This is Cambodia's most impressive pre-Angkor site. There are more than 100 small temples scattered in the forest.

Day 17 Kampong Thom - Phnom Penh
