Day 1 Arrival in Phnom Penh
The Fangipani Royal Palace or similar hotel (4-star standard)

Welcome to Phnom Penh. Your guide and driver will welcome you at Phnom Penh Airport. After warm greetings, after warm greetings, you will take a comfortable car to a hotel in the center of the city. After check-in, you are free to recover from jet lag for the rest of the day, or wander around and get familiar with your surroundings.

Day 2 Phnom Penh
The Fangipani Royal Palace or similar hotel (4-star standard)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at the hotel and escort you to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung EK Killing Fields, where you can learn about the tragic massacre of the Khmer Rouge during 1975 - 1979. After that comes a visit to the National Museum. More than 15,000 precious exhibits, including stone ware, bronze ware, porcelain and wooden artifacts, show the superb skills of the Khmer artisans. You will end the day with the glistering Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda.

Day 3 Phnom Penh – Ta keo- Phnom Penh

After breakfast, you will leave Phnom Penh and drive to the South to the small town of Takeo. You will take a bus from Phnom Penh for about two hours, but on the way, you will stop to visit. The first stop at Tamao wildlife sanctuary in Phnom Penh. The zoo was established to protect and rescue rare and endangered local species from poachers and smugglers. Phnom Tamao, home to 70 Sun bears and Asiatic bears, was rescued with the help of the NGO Free the Bears which aim to protect, preserve and enrich the lives of bears. After that, you will afterward stop at the two temples of Tonle Bati, an important worshipping place and a popular local weekend picnic site where you will have a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit Phnom Chisor, a well-preserved Angkor era temple ruin. At night, back to your hotel in Phnom Penh and have a nice dinner together. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 4 Phnom Penh – Kompong Cham – Kompong Thom
Stay overnight in Kompong Thom

Today your destination is Kompong Cham and Kompong Thom in the lowlands of the middle Mekong River. The two provinces border on each other and share the same thing. Here you can enjoy the fresh air and cool wind of the lowland province and try walking on the bamboo bridges.

Day 5 Kompong Thom – Siem Reap

Today you will spend half a day to visit Sambor Prei Kuk temples in Kompong Thom, and the rest of the time you will discover Siem Reap.

After breakfast, you will go to the temples of Sambor Prei Kuk, a pre-Angkorian temple. This simple, three-part building is surrounded by walls that are easy to appreciate and offer visitors a chance to take pictures and get much information about the pre-Angkorian architecture and history.

Goodbye to Sambor Prei Kuk and Kompong Thom, you will move to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will visit Siem Reap briefly. In the afternoon, you will peek at Angkor Wat from outside and then go to Phnom Bakhend temple to enjoy the sunset there. 


Day 6 Siem Reap – Angkor

If the weather permits, you can view the haunting spectacle of Angkor Wat lit by the golden light of sunrise in the early morning. And then return to the hotel and have breakfast. Then go to the magnificent South Gate of Angkor Grottoes, where there are serenely smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. You will focus on the Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Located in the center of Angkor Grottoes, the Bayong Temple features 49 impressive pagodas. Each pagoda has four smiling faces of the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, so this area really feels like you are in another world. The remarkable elephant terrace retains some of its original glory. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Stop and explore the jungle-entwined temple, Ta Prohm. Next you go to Bakheng Temple. Here you can see an amazing sunset, which you can't miss. To end this wonderful day, you enjoyed the Flying Dinner Show. Overnight at Sihanouk Ville.

Day 7 Siem Reap

Today you will visit Preah Khan (Sacred Sword): one of Angkor's largest temples, built by Jayavarman VII in the 12th century. Then you visit the Banteay Srei Temple by driving. On the way, you will visit some villages and observe the local lifestyle, such as making Palm suger. It is smaller than many other temples in the area, and the color of Banteay Srei is very different and should not be missed. Tourists are fascinated by its exquisite monuments and sculptures. You will be recommended that you have a lunch at Bong Thom home stay (reservation is needed) or at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to the ancient capital of King Indravarman I (877–889), now known as the Rolous Group and the birthplace of classical Khmer art and architecture. If time permits, stop at a nearby orphanage school. Driving back to your hotel later in the afternoon.

Day 8 Tonle Sap Lake

Today, you will first go to Khmer Village to enjoy the paddy field scenery and rural scenery. Next, you board a ship on Tonle Sap Lake and visit the floating village to observe a completely different way of life. In the afternoon, you will arrive at Siem Reap Central Market and the Puok’s Silk Farm. In the Siem Reap Central Market, you can buy anything you want at an acceptable price, but be careful with counterfeits. The Silk Farm will be the most interesting place today. You can see the entire process of silk production directly and talk to the local people about their daily lives.

Day 9 Siem Reap

In the morning, you will visit the Angkor Silk farm offers free guided tours of the process from the mulberry bushes’ cultivation to the production of silk fabrics and accessories. Because the Silk Farm covers 8 hectares, of which 5 hectares are used for the mulberry tree plantation, you will enjoy the beautiful setting while learning about the fascinating process of silk-making.

On your way back, you will stop and visit Senteurs D’Angkor established in 1999, which has successfully developed a high-quality original and local craft industry relying on local resources and maintained working conditions that respect the people. Therefore, these employees have good employment conditions and social security.

Next visit the Artisans Angkor workshop, where they are reviving ancient Khmer crafts and improving the lives of thousands of people living in rural areas. After the trip you will return to hotel and have the rest of your time at your own leisure.


Day 10 Departure from Siem Reap
