When you arrive at Himalaya Country of Nepal, the guide and drive from AET will wait for you on the exit of the terminal building. After that, you will take a private car to the luxury hotel in the city center to check in. On the way, your guide will introduce the city to you. Then, you can relax or to pursue independent activities.
AM: Optional schedule Everest Mt. flight. Later, you will visit Patan and Bhaktapur. The architectural art of Patan Durbar Square is very superb and exquisite. It occupies a place in the world architectural history and is known as the "open-air museum" The third major Durbar Square of the Kathmandu Valley is in Bhaktapur, east of central Kathmandu. It is the place to come for an introduction to fine Newari crafts. The wood, stone and metal carvings around the temples and the traditional clay pots drying in the courtyards in the sun are beautiful attractions of Bhaktapur. You can visit the Pottery square and get your hands dirty and make your own ceramics and take it home as a unique souvenir.
Today's first stop is the Kathmandu Durbar Square. It contains the classical architecture of Nepal from the 16th century to the 19th century. There are more than 50 temples and palaces in the square, which have maintained the original architectural form and style since the middle ancient century. The square and its nearby buildings are the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Then, you will go to visit the Swayam, also called a Monkey Temple, which is one of the oldest Buddhist monuments of the valley and an iconography for both Buddhist and Hindu. After lunch, you will go to visit the local orphanage [Bal Mandhir/NCO]. It is a residential institution devoted to the care of orphans – children. NCO is a Non-Governmental Organization committed to improving the lives of children throughout Nepal, enabling them to survive and succeed.
Today you will go to the next destination, Pokhara. Pokhara, the second largest city in Nepal, is the most famous scenic spot in Nepal. Lakeside in Pokhara is the perfect leisure place with colorful market and exotic food. Pokhara has blooming adventure sports industry. You can choose to try the bungee, ultralight, biking, zipline and rock climbing here. On your way to Pokhara, you can visit the Bandipur, which is an old trading town with a heady mix of history and architecture.
Today you will leave for Begnas Lake, known for its crystal-clear water. Your hike starts from here to KaliKasthan. You can get close contact with the local people and learn about their lifestyle and local customs. After that, you will go to Thulokote, which is the best point to see Annapurna Range, Fishtail, Tent Peak, Dhaulagiri and Pokhara Valley with Phewa Lake and Begnas Lake located on valley floor. Trek down to Kaulekote and continue to Begnas. There are very few tourists in Begnas Lake. You can spend your time and relax freely here
Early in the morning, you will go to explore the Sarangkot, which offers the breath-taking panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. It's the best place to watch the Himalayan sunrise. On the way to the mountain, you will pass some villages and encounter local residents. Their simple smiles and cordial greetings are all unexpected results of hiking. After breakfast, you will go to Kathmandu. After arriving in Kathmandu, you can relax or to pursue independent activities.
After breakfast, please pack your bags and wait in the lobby. The driver will take you to the airport, and you will get on the return plane on time.
